What does a normal treatment at BSC look like?

Our skin technicians use the derma CIT pen to trigger targeted growth factors for building new and healthy collagen. With this treatment, it’s all about expert precision, technique and timing. Sessions are an hour in length, and include cleansing and a take home aftercare hydration treatment.

What’s collagen?

Collagen is present throughout the body, yet especially within the skin, bones and connective tissues. As a protein in all of the bodily organs and tissues, collagen provides the matrix that sustains the body’s structure. Its main function is to sustain tendons, skin and cartilage. It provides integrity, firmness and elasticity to their structures.

How does skin needling really work?

This treatment is scientifically proven to target the cells that are responsible for collagen and elastin production. Within your skin lies five layers, the top two being the ‘epidermis’ and ‘dermis’. Skin needling produces channels at a microscopic level within these two layers, stimulating the skin’s natural healing process by regenerating skin cells.
